water into the engine

How is rain water redirected away from the engine bay with your ducktail design? This was an issue with my Getty tail.

The wing comes with everything needed to install and ready to be painted.

The wing comes with OEM grills directly from Porsche. It should not have any issues with rain.

no more rain will enter then what was there with your stock motorized deck lid. when you pull the motorized decklid off there is still a metal cover with air openings left where the engine fan mounts to. I actually covered this exposed top section with a carbon fiber look vinyl application. so that when you look into the duck tail air openings you dont just see painted metal, but what looks like black carbon fiber. just apply the sticker and cut out all the air holes. .. the shaw ducktail replaces the entire deck lid so that this piece is no longer there on the shaw ducktail to block water from entering... hope that makes sense...

Thanks for the explanation. This makes sense to me. My Getty ducktail replaced the entire lid. The openings for air are just grills so water can enter directly in and my worry was that it would go into the air intake and eventually into the engine. To alleviate this risk, I installed a laundry dryer vent cap from Home Depot to protect the air intake from rain water.
