I saw a good old friend today and he drives a BMW, talking about the mods i want to make to the car, I mentioned the need for an AUX input for my Android device, he showed me what he got and I think it is exactly what I want, I know the Dension 500/500S bt would work perfect, but it is a bit overkilling for what I want. ( i may pull the trigger on it at a later time).

He is using the iSimple iSFM21 - $70ish, It is a Bluetooth Audio Streaming Adapter that use FM Modulation directly to the PCM Antenna, using the "Inline" type of Connection.

I tried my phone on his car and it works exactly how I want it, it support full A2DP, they even offer a Android app with a "instan on" when in range, and it allows you to change the freq and On/OFF from your phone.

My question is:

How is the Antenna connector behind the PCM? I got the 2007 997 C2 with Boss System. I believe my PCM is 2.1 DVD (I am NOT 100% on this).

is the Antenna normal/standard Motorola plug? or is it the European standard?

Would I need somehting like this to connect it?

I would apreciated any feedback form anyone who had seen the PCM backside, or that had installed any accessory and it is sure of how the Antenna plugs looks like.

ok, So I didn't get any feedback and I wasn't really able to find much info around the net about these connectors, so I ordered the BAA711, and those are NOT the right connector for the PCM

for the records, the right connectors are:

40-EU10
40-EU20

You can find them on Best Buy, Amazon, and and few other retailers.

After I got the rigth adapter the installation went smooth.

Now i got Bluetooth Music on my car !!
