Congrats on a great find with such low miles, and that's a really nice trip!

As with above, what color is it?

I too have a C2 and began the mod slippery slope. Your car is the first I've seen on this forum and Rennlist other than mine that has the AM roof antenna. I removed the whip and replaced it with a stubby unit I had from my E46 M3 'vert. Since I never use AM I figured it would look better. I actually wanted to replace it with the flat version (for nav, etc.) but I couldn't justify the cost especially since mine doesn't have it.

First thing I did on mine was suspension and wheels and lighting, although I'm on my second set of wheels now. I kept my 18" like yours for tracking and AutoX.

Picture of stubby antenna. By the way, what wide angle lens are you using? Love the pictures!

Congrats on the car! I was actually looking to buy my car on thw West coast (I live in NY) for that same reason. I once bought a car in Arizona, and the trip home was the best "first drive". When you first buy one you can't get enough anyway!

X...

So rad! What an awesome trip! It's a great way to get to know your car too. I bought mine in Washington and drove it down to SoCal. No where near as far, but still a fun drive.

^^^ That's funny! Up here in WA all the dealers go down to the auction in Riverside, CA to get their cars.

Nice car, by the way.

Very interesting, bummer since the antenna is kind of an eyesore. I have a stubby s2000 antenna laying around. I will probably try that.

Very sharp looking car btw, and the camera I used was a iPhone 5
I used panoramic mode for the wide shots.
I am assuming your car is also Racing Green?

Great story, glad you had a great trip. My wife and I did the reverse direction last summer. Bought our first P-car in Montreal, Quebec and drove it home to Calgary, Alberta through the US. Took 5 days and had an amazing time.

Cool! Do you ever go to the cars and coffee meet? Seems like all the Porsche guys go to that locally.

Cool, I am a huge Work wheels fan, I just ordered a set of Work Meister S1 3pc today. The spending has commenced!
