Seal Grey 997 Aero - Lowered and wheels
Wow, thanks for the complements, what a surprise to see someone has posted a picture of my car...I didn't post it originally because it seems like most people do not like the OEM aero kit or have modification ides…my car is definitely not for a purist. Honestly, this aero kit wouldn’t be my first choice either but it's been track tested and the fit and finish is 100% and I think that's very important. In reading the responses it seems like some people were interested in hearing more about my car…here is an abbreviated bio.
The car started as a very basic 3.6 997 w/19" wheels, xenon headlights and PASM...all of the work on this car (with the exception of the paint on the aero kit) has been done by me personally in my garage. I wanted to put together a street legal track car for PCA DE events. I didn't cut any corners and in some instances did things two or three times before I was satisfied...its definitely new school Porsche. If you're thinking about venturing out past your warranty but have some questions feel free to drop me a line...I'm hardly an expert but I can probably save you some drama.
As my car sits today it has: FVD exhaust w/200 cell cats, EVO intake and something to make them work together (wink), OEM spec Big Red Brake upgrade w/master cylinder and stainless brake lines, Bilstein PSS9 coil over suspension, H&R sway bars, Techart strut brace, Kinesis K19's, Porsche OEM aero kit, OEM sport shift and alum look console, Recaro SPG race seats, Brey-Krouse Harness truss (will be replaced by a roll bar when I can find one for a 997) Brey-Krouse anti sub belt bar and side mount brackets, Teamtech 5 point harnesses and I'm sure I forgot to mention some mods but you got most of it...
While this car is not my daily driver, I do drive it and I'm happy to report that it's as good at 147mph as it looks sitting in my driveway...Thanks for your interest and let me know if I can help in any way.
