I am am reviving this thread from the dead. I put on a red S, but it has a very orange huento the red. Is this normal? I thought the red S would be more of a true red

 

Probably going to be shouted down, but to me that is not a good look on our cars. Looks like a Honda trying to be a Porsche. My personal feelings on this, your thoughts and opinions may very. Carry on.

 

When I put my red S on mine I had a body shop paint it Candy Red. Looked sweet!

Now I have Gloss 911

Just asking about the shade of Red on people's emblems that have already done this.

And to clarify, I AM a Porsche owner trying to pose as a Honda owner so this emblem is perfect for that

I did the entire badge using Plastidip.

 

I like the red S. Just my opinion. I saw a perfect black 993 C4S the other day with the red S and it looked awesome.

 

 

I'm not a fan of the red "S." It's probably because I see these everywhere:

 

Anyone use a red S on a red car? Feels like I need an S here...

 

 

A bit off topic on car color, but found a red S to go well on mine. Speed Yellow and red S fits my taste and has a tint of red in it. The Black Carrera emblem and red S matches nicely with stock red calipers, and black wheels. I ceramic coated the PSE tips Satin Black to round it all out. Ordered it from SunCoast as the large version. It turned out to be the Exact same size as our 997 models’ stock “S”.
