Picked up my new pre-owned 997 CAB (2007)

Hi everyone, I just wanted to thank you all for posting great pics and advice. I picked up a pre-owned 997 C2S Cab this week.

I am already trying to figure what type of exhaust, rims, LEDS, and springs to get after 3 days of ownership!!!!

Congrats on picking up a beauty !! Now we need some details, have you been looking for long ? How many miles ......etc.

Exhaust and Wheels: There is a lot of options out there, I would do a search and you should find anything you want to know. I personally love the Turbo wheels you have on now.

LED's: We offer a Master Interior Lighting Kit that includes a DIY instructions

Springs: I like the H&R Sport Springs, they offer a mild lowering to cleanup that "too high-rally-stock look." Stock ride comfort is then retained. A drop of 1.2" all the way around.

Very nice!
As it has not yet been said, clear side markers... absolutely the cheapest, easiest mod available.

I have had mine since last October, and I am already pretty far down the slope.

Thanks for that Onefast... I have been looking into the LED options, and those look nice. No codes yet?

I've had the car for 3 days. Been looking for years !!! Finally found a white cab in mint condition. Has 40k miles. 6spd.
I would love 20" wheels and a loud exhaust system!! I love hearing my car !!
Chrome or polished wheels are my thing
And those LEDs look great !!
Thanks guys
Afraid of doing 20" because of New York roadways. What do you guys think ??

Welcome, lovely car......my advice, Keep the rims.....they are great! Do H&R's like the guy above said and add a Tubi!

Also, i would replace the 'yellowing' rear stone guards with matt black....Job done!

Looks almost like mine! In the process of trading in for a turbo.

Congrats on the new car.

From what I've seen here, New York isn't very 20 inch rim friendly.
Enjoy shopping for mods - I've had the mod bug all winter waiting to take the car out in the spring.

BTW - Check the marketplace, ASLAN is selling a set of chrome turbo wheels. It's too blingy for me but see you like chrome/polished. (No relation or connection to him)

Stay away for 20" wheels if you live anywhere in the Northeast and plan to drive the car regularly IMO. I've got 18" wheels, and the ride over anything but the smoothest pavement is rough enough as it is. If you like a loud exhaust at a decent price, look into Fister. It's as loud as I personally would want.

I have a white C2S and the skipped the clear lights. Keep yours. White needs a little color. On other paint jobs, certainly, but like the yellow lights on my white car. White on white does zero for me. -1 on 20s. Yours look great.

I would stick with 19's, car is to small for 20's IMO, being in NY makes it a no brainer.

Congrats!!!!!! Get those Clear Side markers, quickest mod available and makes a big difference especially on White.
