GT3 nose looks terrific, but i know that has to be tough to deal with day to day. I'm on Eibachs with standard nose and I have to be careful of most entry inclines. i would have to imagine you would even have issues with speed bumps in that car. if you know, can you give some info on the nose - genuine GT3, aftermarket, etc.? looks awesome! gorgeous car.

What size are the wheels? I love them.

Would they fit my 2009 997.2 NB C2?
I currently have the 19" Carrera S Sport II wheels.

Thinking if selling mine and getting these wheels if they would fit.

Congrats on your purchase, it looks like you picked up a beauty !! Your car is amazing looking with those wheels. I would also consider some Rubber Floor Mats if you haven't already. Enjoy

Thank you. I believe it is OEM GT3 front, I actually purchased it as such.

Appreciate the positive responses.

Still open to trading H&R springs for someone's stock springs.

have you researched how much it is to takeout and install springs? My 06 C4S currently has stock springs.

Well, I have access to a Porsche Master technician at my location so the cost is worth it to me.

You would likely pay $600-800 depending your area and quality of shop/technician. You'll also want an alignment.

With a normal C4 bumper and a warm climate, this would be a no-brainer. The ride quality is superb.

Awesome another Targa in Denver! I can't wait to check yours out! Send me a PM with your email and I will forward it to Erik who coordinates the Porsche Breakfast Club. What part of town are you in? The PBC meets up north (Broomfield), central (I-25/Colorado) and south (Park Meadows). It's free and there are lots of fun drives through the mountains. Also, if you are not a member join the PCA Rocky Mountain Region, the DE's and Autocrosses are a blast!

The roof retracts like a sunroof only much larger. The targa roofs on the 993, 996 & 997s are not removeable.

You may want to check this out next week:

The March 2013 RMR-PCA Membership Social will be at, 3ZERO3 Motorsports. I'm excited that they will be hosting our monthly event at their Porsche-centric shop!
Max Gerson, of 3ZERO3 Motorsports, sent the following along to let club members know what to expect when they arrive, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.

We will have many PCA member cars on display in the shop. Everything from daily drivers, to race cars, to better highlight examples of what we are capable of from both a factory maintenance and repair stand point, to light tuning, custom tuning and race car prep and support. This list of cars will include at minimum our 997.1 Grand Am Race Car that is being de-comissioned for use by a local Porsche owner. "Helga" our fully built Turbo Charged 986 Boxster S with a 500HP+ engine, that will again be competing in one lap of America. Scott Grabers 997 C4S that has been fitted with a Supercharger and OEM GT3RS bumpers. Steven Scherr's 996 C4 that is essentially a daily driver with EVOMS Stage 2 tuning. Dennis Cassel's 996 C4S daily etc etc etc.

We are flying out Matthew Carrick from Evolution Motorsports in Arizona. We believe firmly in their tuning and hardware options for OBD2 Porsche's. He will be here to answer any questions or concerns members may have.

We are having Akrapovic ( pronounced : ah-crop-ohh-vitch) send us a titanium exhaust display. Many people don't realize that they are the OEM supplier for Porsche GT2 exhaust systems. So that will be very cool to see.

5280 Culinary will be on hand, executing a slider (mini burger) bar, and all the usual libations will be present.

I have a set of those and they are great, especially in the winter months.
