I think I'm going to take mine off and paint it soon. Needs flat black on it, I'm guessing I can do a fine job with the same black spray paint I used on the rear emblems. I figure just sand it down a little to smooth out some of the scrapes and then just put enough light coats on it to make it look smooth.
I have painted this lip in both met black and flat black before.
Yep, just sand it and put light coats
Flat black is very easy to play with, especially plasti dip.

+1. Actually, you need cinder blocks surrounding the car when parking in NYC.

I really like your car but not a fan of the new lip color. I like the silver touch on the mirrors but now I think its getting too much.

STILL a sweet car.

Actually...

This was 2009 in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn. And this was the second time this guys car was hit. Unfortunately, this stuff happens here in Dallas as well. Mostly in underground garages.

When I was in HS my 1997 heavily modified Civic was hit. The car was only about 9 months old and bad *** (for the time and for a 16 year old!). Car was parked in the garage, they broke into my dads car, opened the garage door, stripped the hell out of it in my garage, and left. Also, stole most of our tools and all the extra stock parts I had lying around.

At the time I wish I had taken a pic but I was 16 years old and devastated! Worst part about it, the police had me and my brother as a suspect at one time. Long story short, I got screwed over by insurance and I pretty much got back a stock Civic, sold that **** real quick.

Sorry for the thread hijack...
