DellaVilla Hardback for 996/997 series

DellaVilla has an aftermarket 3-piece hardback for 996/997 cabriolets that transforms our cars into a speedster look. It looks pretty awesome, but their site gives no pricing that I can see. Obviously, the biggest "downsides" would be getting caught in bad weather and storing the pieces when not in use.

Does anyone here have one of these for their cars? What are your impressions of the product and DellaVilla in general?

I sent an E-mail inquiry to these folks several days ago, and I've not received any reply back. Another great example of customer service response that makes French cars and products so popular over here.

THFisher is infamous around these parts
JB-

I contacted this company and the price they quoted me was $6,500 for the unpainted version, plus $600 if you want them to paint it to match your car... plus shipping.
Too expensive for my budget although I really liked the look.

Thanks! Geez. I "like" the look as well, but I have better things to spend that much money on other than a hardback for my P-car. I got an entire hardtop for less than $3K painted to match.

I agree! I was hoping it would be a least half that cost. I felt I could rationalize $2,500 but not double that amount or more. I can't imagine them selling too many of them at $7k+! Sacre bleu!!!

Honestly I think that thing is incredibly ugly. It looks like an after thought. But to each his own I guess.
