12 GTS Cab vs 10 Turbo Cab

I might have a chance to trade my GTS cab for a Turbo cab, approximately an even trade. Miles pretty similar too. Anyone have any thoughts as to fun factor, depreciation, reliability, etc?

Man, you're GTS is hardly broken in! Hard to imagine close to an even trade with even mileage though. The '10 TT advantages are best exploited with PDK, said even though I prefer stick personally.
Of course deprecation will be better than the GTS because the TT is older. However, it will take a bit of a hit when the 991 TT comes out. No major reliability issues have surfaced - you likely have at least 1 year of factory warranty left anyway.
Uh, fun factor? Uh, don't drive the TT. You will promptly hand over your GTS keys once you get into the boost with the turbo!

Are you thinking the turbo will be worth much more than my GTS? I haven't talked specifics with the dealer yet (who has the car coming in on trade,) but I told him I'd only be interested in a trade if the two are very close in value.

The TT will blow you away. I assume you aren't currently blown away by the GTS or you wouldn't even be considering cheating on her.

CarreraS997Blk is infamous around these parts
Don't even test drive the turbo unless you have a figure in your head on what you will lose by trading in the GTS.... the power is intoxicating i can only imagine the thrust you would feel in a cab. Enjoy, i know i love mine!

Caution... Once you drive the TT, you're DONE. Once the boosts kick in, you will sign your life away at the stealership.

Just traded in my 08 C4s for a 10 Turbo. Insurance is only an additional $35/6 months.

Assume you didn't drive it. A turbo is intoxicating and launch control on the .2 TT is the PDK benefit. Yes, I figured your GTS would be quite a bit less than the turbo. At even money, the TT will hold value better, be more reliable, probably be LESS to insure and is just an incredible rush to drive.

You might want to take a second look! But like Jman said, be prepared with the price, because you'll be leaving your GTS keys there!

Once you spend some time with PDK I bet you would like it. It behaves differently from tiptronic. Gear shifts are smooth and instantaneous. Changing gears while in fully automatic mode will cause PDK to temporarily switch over to manual mode. If you don't do anything else after that it will go back to automatic after some time.
