i installed the sharkworks bypass pipe and completed the Gundo Hack last week, and just wanted to say it sounds "PERFECT" under 4000rpm it is mild and put your foot down it goes to wild. Great mod. Would suggest to anyone who is thinking about making the change.

 

+1. have the same setup w/ AWE crossover pipes. Perfect sound, no interior drone, and cheaper than a full aftermarket setup.

 

Does the bypass pipe delete the mufflers?

 

On '09 and newer Porsche 911 the factory in its infinite wisdom added a third center muffler that the crossover pipes are designed to eliminate. Earlier models did not have this.
