carbon door sill
Just curious did you look into the ones from Maxspeed at all? They do not sell full length, but the price is outstanding and the few reviews I was able to find had nothing but good things to say.
Been kinda following this thread because I love carbon and am looking at those inner door sills. Is anyone buying on the GB, given the neg rep of DB and that they are in Germany? Also, note that I once read the install instructions for the outer door sills and they are VERY difficult. Apparently they are very hard to remove (you need to destroy the existing ones in the process). Sounds like other damage could be possible to the metal sill if you don't do it right.
Also, the script on my turbo carbon sills is not a sticker. The script is clear and is lit from below. Not sure how a sticker will look on those. I've used the script in my Avitar.

To remove the original door sills could be done w/o damaging the car body or destroy the old original sills - you just need to do it at an warm day and use a hair dryer to heat the sills and make the double sided tape flexible enough to get it off..
With best regards
just ordered the oem carbon outer door sill (full length with Carrera S logo) with Suncoast today

also ended up ordering the black umbrella..

Parts look like they are heavily lacquered to give them shine. They should be polished resin.
They could offer 90% discount, I'd still buy elsewhere!!
I found a guy on the internet, does an outstanding job at a reasonable cost. The only downside was having to ship parts to him to be wrapped.
Best item he's done for me was the seatbelt height adjusters, beats the peeling rubber coating!!!
Cheers,
John
I purchased a couple of items through DB last year, all I can say is never again!!!!

Do you have pictures?
Also who did you end up using where you sent the parts?
Dear johnnyb2016:
We´re very suprised to hear sth. like that from you, we never got any report about an problem from you and had not a chance to solve an issue, if there is any... More than unfair to post sth. like this w/o informing us in advance.
BUT - after what you described you seems to be not knowing very much about carbon..just polish the resin w/o an final painting step is an very bad quality step...Sorry, we never would do it like this, you wouldn´t too when you would know how it would look like. An final painting step of clear coat gives the best and perfect result.
Again sorry to hear sth. like that from you and for any problems feel fee to contact us.
And +1 on Carnut12 question, provide pics of your parts from us and are they still installed in your car?

Your interior is nice! Did you buy or paint your center console? The black really shines.
Apologies, not wrapped as in 3M wrap, but proper CF lamination.
For wrapped carbon fiber, I sure hope the prices is reasonable. You can go to ebay and get a whole roll for $10. Sorry dude, no matter how good carbon fiber wrap is, it still looks cheap. I would never do that to my Porsche. My honda maybe. Went to a car show last week and a really nice Audi had his interior wrapped in CF, made it looked really cheap. Poor Audi
