It's funny how people say the dectane lights look more OEM, both are aftermarket, the OEM LED is for 997.2. It's a moot point.
I know that neither *is* OEM, but the Depo *looks* OEM.

They both look good, but one looks like it's an aftermarket addon, and the other would look like a factory piece to someone who isn't a Porschephile.

I think the Dectane/Depo's are like $800+? And the Del Ray's has there for something like $600/shipped (and perhaps another 15% discount?)

If the Del Ray offers that price + great customer service, I might go with them.
Still waiting for Del Ray to contact me.

Someone who is not a "porschephile" won't know which one between the two looks more oem. This assertion of the oem look is just for Porsche obsessed.

Rears are ok. Not a fan of the aftermarket fronts though.

Depos look very nice and OEM until you hit the brakes.
I flat out despise the C shape of the brake lights. Just looks cheap in my opinion. The Rottec's look much better when in use.

Understand you don't like the brake light...but you never see them and who cares what the person behind you thinks.

I guess the next time I get my haircut, I'll just tell them not to cut the back of my head. I mean I can't see it...so who cares.
The point is that I know what it looks like and it looks cheap. I don't want that on my car. For those considering Dectanes, I'd consider this. Maybe you agree, maybe you don't.

Buying Dectane LED direct from Germany

DelRayCustoms sounds promising?
Here is where you can go to buy them direct from Dectane.

http://www.orange-tuning.de/shop/911...1_141_895.html

*Make sure to click the 'British/English' flag to translate from German to English. On their site...click...Vehicle Porsche...911/997...then a window will appear for exhaust, lighting, performance, ECU, suspension, etc. Obvioulsy select lighting and you will have several options (smoked, partial smoke, clear, red crystal.

Hope this helps. Oh-yea they are $650 USD delivered to your door (+/- a few bucks).

Before anyone orders from Orange Tuning, they ought to search re abysmal customer service plus they are international. There are domestic sources.
