Can anyone speak to the resilience of these sills? Seems to me that they would scratch just as easily as a plastic version. Is there anything particularly rugged about the carbon finish?

This inquiring mind wants to know.

 

good question. i would also like to hear some thoughts on that (even tho i already bought mine..lol)

i just assumed that with a clear coat on the carbon, i can just buff it out if/when the scuff marks show too much

 

Yes that´s correct - scratches you can simply sand off and polish back too highgloss when they become too much..

An idea would may be an clear stone protection foil often used on front bumper or side fenders.., there are several suppliers..
