Front bumper question

I recently purchased an 09 C2S and noticed something when I was cleaning the car over the weekend. I saw that the bumped was not aligned properly from the driver side headlight back to back part of the fender. I've attached a picture for you all to see what I'm talking about.

Long story short I noticed what I assume is an air intake right in front of the wheel damaged from the previous owner (l assume he ran up on to a curb and ripped it off.) I had intake piece fixed at the dealership but I'm wondering if when that damage happened it also had a bolt/screw pulled off as well. The dealership didn't have to remove the bumper to install that part so I know it wasn't an issue with them.

There is no damage/stress marks on paint of any part of the bumper and the passenger side has no alignment issues. Since I'm a new owner I wanted to see if this is a simple fix where I can pull off a couple screws and fix it, or if I would need to take it to a body shop. It's not very noticeable so I could not even mess with it if we are talking $$$ to have it aligned/fixed. Any feedback is appreciated.

I have removed and installed my bumper several times when I did a bumper upgrade. If it really bothers you there are some topics here that discuss how to remove the front bumper. If you want to tackle the project then you will have to:

-remove both headlights.

- look inside headlight opening toward middle trunk. you will see clips that slide and lock. on the trunk side of the clip you will see a lip with a hole in it. one on each side, use a hook tool to insert into small hole and pull HARD towards middle of car.. clip will slide out and release bumper hook.

-there are 3 or 4 screws on top of the bumper just underneath the rubber/plastic cover the goes around the trunk latch. Loosen those

-then remove/ loosen about 6 screws underneath bumper .

- remove side marker lights, loosen 2 screws each side where side markers are at.. one where side marker light was and one by pulling back inside wheel liner and it is under where side marker was..

-now that all those are loose... yank and pull the bumper towards the passenger side..

-if you have a friend or wifey, ask them to hold bumper in desired position while you start tightening all the screws back..

there are probably some pics of the DIY for this job.

BTW.. on a black car, trust me ... only you will notice, but sometimes that's all that matters

sure... by the way.. cold and heat affect the flexibility of these bumpers in a big way, just like all other plastics and rubber... If you tackle it, then when its hot or warm will probably help you flex/stretch/pull it into submission much easier.

To be honest, if you are **** and meticulous like me , then it may never be "perfect". Try it out if it really bugs ya, but I would not be too hard on yourself or the car if it's not within the 1 or 2 millimeters your looking for ... trust me, I know because I yanked and pulled on mine for a long time and got it close enough. There are so many other great things to stare at on your car then the bumper alignment..

all the best and enjoy your amazing car!

There is an "L" finger behind the side marker that suppose to engage the upper fender. I would venture to say that it is not engaged properly. Maybe became disengaged during impact.

+1 on help, I didn't have any when I did my horns and now after all was put back it's slightly off at the frunk line. Yes, it bothers me. It doesn't get wet and no one notices but me and I even was wondering if it was my imagination. The other day there was another porsche at the store and I looked. I had to put my finger in there to see, but it's off by maybe an 1/8th or quarter inch. When I do my grill mesh I'll fix it then. Now that I know how to do the bumper it will be much quicker.
