Congratulations Arnie. Looking forward to photos and your comments on the car after you get it. You're right about needing to spend less time cleaning the car. I loved that about my GT Silver Targa when I had it.

I miss my 997S Launch Car, but certainly not the black paint maintenance. The new Cayman S [of course] is white so I'll be spending more time driving and less washing.

I'll migrate over to the Cayman Forum but plan to still check in here every once in awhile to see what you guys are up to.
Congrats !

be sure to post pics here

Before & After

Thought I'd share a couple of 'before & after' photos of my 997S to 981CS transition.

Picked up the new Cayman S yesterday so I don't have a lot of 'seat time' to share how it performs. I will say however that the short ride was quiet, PDK was crisp, adaptive seats were so comfortable and my initial interaction w/ the PCM and controls was very friendly and intuitive.

The guys, namely Carl Tofflemire and Richard Presley, at Pacific Porsche in Torrance, CA were great. The bent over backwards to make the deal and treated me like family. It was truly a positive experience.

Summary to date: Happy as a Pig in S**t!

It looks great! We need some more photos, especially the rear and the interior. Nice choice.

[I like your garage floor design too. Used the same product on my Irvine garage and will likely do my current one that way too.]
