Market is pretty strong right now, not a whole lot of inventory.

If the car the OP referred to was a C4S, I'd jump on it at 57k, but expect issues or history. As suspected, it's a C2, and at 57k with 34k miles probably priced a little high to fair.

Market asking prices right now (looking within 500 miles of SoCal) for 2009 "CPO" C2 with "average miles" is about 55-62, C2S is about 60-68k. Basing this off a scrub of auto trader, porsche CPO locator, and craigs list I did this morning.

 

Yup. I'm seeing about the same I'm in Tennesee and pricing may not be as high, but close. Also doesn't have to be a C4s but at least a s and PDK. Black or White are my first 2 options as well.

 

Always been told "but the newest you can afford."

anyone in Cali familiar with it. Price seems pretty good. Unfortunately being 1800 miles away, I only can go of pics, carfax, and service records. He has all. Any suggestions?
