My FIRST PORSCHE!
Here it goes guys...
The documentation in the OPTION part says 8 speed tiptronicS
I agree it means something else, I just picked up the car this evening and it is a 5 speed tiptronic...and it is AWESOME...
I love the car, really MINT and incredibly new! Porsche Certified.
Please see attachments for the vehicle details and pictures.
Please advise if you know what that 8 speed tiptronic S means!
By the way, I am in Queens (close to LI) in Bayside...lets meet!
Thanks everyone.

STUNNING!! OP love the white. Im not a drop top kinda guy but that looks really good. Maybe we can kick it one day as im also in queens. The car looks perfect and your gonna love it. I just picked my 997 up in feb and it was and still is smiles from ear to ear on a daily basis.
The 8-speed Tiptronic S was offered in the Cayenne from 2011, so someone probably checked the wrong "Tiptronic" box when making the options list.
Very nice looking car! I wouldn't say the Tiptronic is garbage. It may not be as fun to drive for some of us, but there's certainly nothing wrong with it.

nice!
white was my second color of choice (black been the 1st) look great!
I would do 2 mods on it:
1: change the orange markers for some transparent/smoked ones
2: change the rock gard (the yelow-ish plastic in front of the rear wheels) I have seen picture where they put it black on white cars. man, that look amazing! this mod make me re-thing about my favorite color....
now put some mile on this!
and do readings on detailing a car. so it will remain stunning for years!
again, no worries about the tiptronic, a porsche is a porsche... what ever option you picked, it is an amazing car!

I think my 3 weeks persistence paid off...as the asking price was 54K and I wanted to pay 46K, but finally got for 47.500 and I am happy with it.
Thanks everyone,
LCL
Took a lot of effort, however it only lasted 3 weeks of GOOD SEARCH on autotrader.com, cars.com, local newspapers (EBAY REALLY SUCKS NOWDAYS) prices are crazy, but you still can do what I did...make an offer to what you think is is reasonable and you would pay, also bid for the highest price you would want to pay and see what happens...many dealers and private sellers are asking way too much, and there is a big competition out there, so most likely they will lower the price to what is okay with you...DON;T RUSH, even if you are told that you will miss the opportunity of a great car! MANY OTHER cars will appear in a mater of a week or so, so NO RUSH.
