My 997TT will be this color combo

 

please tell me more about this color, what are your thoughts.
i really really like atlas a lot.

I love those wheels....I think the "lip" business is going to be pase.

 

i posted in feb, 05 that i ordered a 997 cab, atlas grey, sea blue interior with the stone grey top and a regular member asked me if i saw that color combination before i placed the order as though it was off the the wall.

Some day i'll learn to send my photos.

Schicago, post pics if you can. Sounds like you would like to be recognized for your insight regarding this color combo. I put a deposit today on the next 997s cab allocated at a local dealership. I'm leaning towards the same except with the met top.

 

You should see them in person- the spokes are very curved when viewed on edge and alternate in depth around the wheel - an inset smaller " y " inside a more protruding bigger " V " - not represented well in pics at all. Best looking wheel for 997 Cab and Boxster, IMO. Looks great in the Cayman S intro pics , too.

Wheel brake dust OCD- types , stay away , though !

The car is begging for after-market stuff ...... looks kind of bland and conservative ... maybe it is that blue interior .. just my opinion ...

 

to redlined, et al: i took a sample of met blue top and i held it next to the side windows of an atlas grey coupe before placing my order using the stone grey top instead.

the color blend is a personal choice, you should try the swatches of canvas before deciding. there was no photo posted of the stunner cab with the top up.

Further food for thought , i had a 1999 boxster/ ocean blue with the met top, it was great but when Porsche dropped ocean for lapis, the met blue top didnt cut it.

Anyone know if this car is available somewhere? this is exactly what I want....think I'm gonna just go ahead and get the S cab, waiting for the TT is killin me.
