Help!!! Advice needed!
Two questions for everyone: I am planning on purchasing a 2007 or 2008 911 s
1. I recently had to trade in my Panamera because we are having another kid. I miss my porsche terribly. I am thinking about buying a 911. Will the drive of a 911 be a lot harsher than the Panamera? I have a back that gives me issues at times.
2. Which year was better for a 911 2007 or 2008? Or does it matter? I picked those years because they seem to fall into the right price range.
Thanks everyone.

Same car both years so if you can afford the newer do it.
As for the ride, it will be harsher than the Panamera for sure. But then again it is a full on sports cars, not a GT. I dont mind it but if I had real back problems it might not be ideal.

The Panamera and 911 have similar seat comfort, but obviously the ride is more supple on the Panamera. The Panamera suspension is softer, has more body roll and has a longer wheelbase so bumps aren't as jarring.
Steering in the Panamera is ok, but it's no 911. You'll really enjoy the difference.
Many people daily drive the 911. If you get it with PASM (standard on the S) you'll get a slightly softer suspension in normal mode than the base, but in sport mode it will be stiffer than the base...best of both worlds.

2009 and up . New PCM , technology, Dfi,
I also would opt for a manual (only because the PDK in the 991 is that much better) .
PS . Dont most people keep the Panamera if having a child instead of selling it to buy a 911 ?
