Lowering and wide body wheels
Lowering and wide body wheels
Wondering if anyone has wide body wheels on their narrow body c2 or c2s and has lowered their car with springs.
I have wb turbo wheels on my nb and am thinking on installing eibachs, i was wondering if their may be any issues with rubbing in the front or the tires hitting the fender in the rear that others have experienced. Thanks for any help or experiences you guys may have had.

Aero race wheels are pretty wide. Aero doesnt offer a proper set up for our cars stock, as they would stick out the fenders by 2.5 inches. Front fenders were bolt on. Rears were bolted in and fiberglassed.
Eibach offers two different kits, the Pro-Kit Spring Set for performance street use and the more aggressive Sportline Spring Set for autocross and track use. The lowering is usually between 1" and 1.5" depending on the application. It's recommended to have an alignment done after the springs are installed.

You'll be fine, I've ran OEM wide body spec wheels on my C2S with not issues (and I have HR springs). You might want to consider front spacers once lowered because once lowered the wheels come in set slightly.
