997.1 sport chrono clock question?

Warning - possible dumb question below

Do the sport chrono clocks on the 997.1 operate as real clocks in addition to lap timers? I had a panamera loaner car recently and noticed that the sport chrono on the dash operated as a clock that told actual time as well, and I never noticed this in my car.

Sorry no.
Is there a retro fit?
Not that I'm aware and then how would you control it.

It should have been called the "stopwatch" form day one.

Thanks for the response. Anyone else have retro fit ideas? I would love to somehow get my sport chrono timer to work as a real clock.

Not gonna happen with the current timing since its built into the electronics. You could ditch the chrono all together but that wouldnt be integrated at all.

I always thought the wart-like clock on the nice dash top looked a little "off."
