Am considering the purchase of some Carrera Sport wheels with the polished lip, and painted spokes. They are currently black, has anyone refinished theirs and can speak to the durability of the refinish? Also, did you just have a body shop do the work?

I would not think it would cost very much.

I would like to go with GT silver and not sure how they blend the finish of the paint and polished lip...

 

Have them powder coated. I believe it was about $500 total when I had mine done - coordinated through the dealer when I purchased the car so not sure how much they tacked on to the actual vendor cost.

I went with gloss black with a small red lip at the edge to match the S calipers.
