2005 997 steering issues.
Hello.
Need some help. I have a 205 997 with 63,000 miles. If I keep the car under 100 mph it keeps itself in a straight line. Now if I go over 100 or more the car wants to craw or wonder on the road. I have to keep turning the steering wheel to the left or right (very little). It's a little scary when you are going 125 to 140.
Thanks

i would first make sure you have a GOOD (track) alignment and balanced wheels. i cant imagine that a more serious issue (e.g. suspension, front end, steering rack etc) would only pop up at 100+. those types of issues IMO are evident at lower speeds/cornering.
The tires are good, they send their best regards
You meant to say what is the condition of the tires?
I agree with the question, tire condition is crucial in stability, keep in mind the patch of tire that is in contact with the road is smaller than an A4 paper!

You are correct, I must be having a case of the Mondays on Tuesday
As an owner of a 2005 C2S, I haven't experienced that particular symptom on the track at those speeds. What track where you driving on when this occurred? I assume you're experiencing this crawl and wandering on the track and not on public highways.
