I totally agree that most stuff on eBay is crap. The difference with this stuff is that there aren't any "quality" LED's, I don't think. They are all made in China. I agree that there might be some trial and error, but the initial set I got from a shop didn't have resistors and threw the warning light. They said they just do. Took me 5 min on eBay to find ones that don't. Hopefully the new ones will seat deeper in the socket and fit correctly.
I'm not so crazy about the LED's, but I do like them on the front corners of the turbo. For license plate lights and stuff, I don't think so.
Sorry about the trouble. I guess it's a matter of finding ones the do work right. If someone make a DIY that would be great!

I like interior LED's. But I think I'm the only person on earth that feels a line of dots on on a headlight or taillight just looks bad! Oh well, I guess I'm getting old!

No trouble at all! Usp did a very good install video, check it out.
I don't want drls either. The turbo corner light is different. I also like the new tail lights, but that is totally different.

I got these for the front parking lights on a turbo. They go into the corners of the turn signals. Error free and they fit fine. T10 LEDs with no errors. Under $5 for 2 bulbs, free shipping and I received them in 2 days.

I think Jason reported early on that the plastic inside the turn signal melted with his first set of parking light bulbs. Do you have a IR temp meter? You may want to check just to be sure.

I've had the Hoen City Lights for the TT installed for 2 years - no problems, look great.

Very good point and I was a bit concerned. Ran them for 15 minutes and the enclosure was only warm to the touch. Bear in mind that the incandescent bulbs generate quite some heat - they almost get hot to the touch. I'm still going to monitor though. The first set of LEDs I got had a little heat sink on them, but they were too long. I thought that would be better. If you look at the pic, the little resistors incorporated are so tiny - amazing stuff. I definitely don't want issues playing around with LEDs.
