Question Is this shifter stock?

During the pre-purchase inspection of my 997 the Porsche tech. mentioned that my shifter was tilted too far to the left. On a few occasions during the first few weeks after picking her up, I accidentally shifted into 3rd at a few lights thinking I was in 1st. I've been meaning to better align it and finally got around to pulling the shift boot today. I was surprised to see blue anodized parts. I also noticed the scratching as if the boot had previously been removed. I've tried to find pics of a stock 997 shifter without any luck. Do you think this is an aftermarket short-shifter, and if so, which brand?

Thanks!
-Mike

Google b&m Porsche short shifter... pull up the (pdf) short throw shifter-b&m site. That site should answer all your questions.

definitely aftermkt.

possibly B&M but their shifter is usually machined - not a polished cast piece. So it could be a B&M knock off as there are many on ebay, etc.
