Sanity Check - OZ Track Wheels

Just about to pull the trigger on OZ Allegeritas for the 997.1 C2S, 2006
Planning on 18x8.5 (53 offset?) and 18x12 (68 offset?)
245 and 315 Nittos.
Camber is aggressive street and no LCA's

I'm pretty sure I did the research and that's going to work.

Comments from those in the know?

Thanks!
Jack

Doing some research. Maybe 8.5 in front and 11 in back is a better way to go?
Still not so sure.
Seems like 11" might be better than 12" for 305 and 315.
Hoping for insight from a wheel guru!

The tire manufacturers recommend an 11 or 11.5 wide wheel for the 315/30R18.
That said, Porsche stretches a 305 on a 12 inch wide rim on the GT3.
I would go with the tire manufacturers recommendation.

I used 8.5 front and 11 rear. It fit flush on mine C2S. I like the OZ wheels
But I have Breyton GTSR wheels

Don't know about the Nittos, but on a narrow body GT3's we use 18x12 rear and 18x9 fronts with the 315 and 245's. Some owners use larger tires. You might troll in the GT3 forums for a while to see what size Nittos are recommended for the track. Going to an 11 in the back would be the wrong way to go.

What about the 305/35/18? New this year. Read is better for the 997.
