How to get behind front bumper for license plate on 997.1 C2S

Hello, I have a 2005 C2S with 4 pre-drilled license plate holes with plugs and painted caps on them. I tried to pry them out with a small screw driver but only managed to pop of the cap. Really ugly now.

I can't seem to get behind the bumper to pinch/push out the plugs and then get a bolt back there for the plate.

Can someone please show me an easy way to get behind there from above or below?

Thank you

Getting the bumper off is not too tough BUT why don't you drill the rest of the caps out gently and then put the plate on using plastic pop rivets!? No need to take the bumper off at all then, unless I am not seeing this properly!?

Great idea, should have thought of that. I didn't realize the whole bumper has to come off to do this.

Thanks Stacy
