I received my 2009 3.8 997 today, I got it for a crazy good price, it has minor body problems (or at least I think they are) which I thought it would not cost much to repair, so now I need your help guys. What is this plastic peace? it is located at the rear right wheel (where you see the tape) and how much will it cost to repair? (approximate)

That's the leading edge of the stone guard/mud flap.
Looks like the car ran over a curb.
Lets hope the metal damage underneath is minimal but tape holding it on may suggest otherwise.

 

You need to get the car on a lift and do a thorough inspection on the rear undercarriage, you might be lucky and just have to replace the plastic under flap...IMO

Just got the news, there is a hit on exhaust, I'm going on Saturday to check out the damage, I hope I don't need to buy a new exhaust system. any idea how much a new Sport exhaust will cost?

 

PSE would be $ 3,000 + US. Where you are I suspect a good deal more. Maybe you could get one side on Ebay and same big $$.

 

If they are damaged, good opportunity to upgrade.
