PSE and Fabspeed X Pipe?
PSE and Fabspeed X Pipe?
Had the PSE installed on my 2009 C4S Cab. The Car sounds more aggressive but I may be looking for more. I've heard others mention installing the Fabspeed X pipe with the PSE. How does this sound? Have any of you done this? I love the idea of an even louder more aggressive sound but don't want to go crazy and Im not looking for drone when driving.
I believe that the Fabspeed and Sharkwerks cross pipe are very similar in both design and function (please someone correct me if I'm wrong). That being the case I know that Sharkwerks' website has audio clips of before and after sounds. For whatever it is worth, I have the Sharkwerks cross pipe and, with PSE, it does liven up the sound (of the particularly quiet DFI engine) without too much drone. Basically, and I think I am just repeating what others have said, PSE and the cross pipe on a DFI engine is what the Carerra should sound like, stock, in the first place (so much so, I recall reading that PAG engineers were focusing on increasing the engine note on the 991 when it was in development).
