Please check your front passenger seat belt

I was at my dealer today and I noticed on 2 of the 911s, the front passenger seat belt was installed backward. My 2013 Cayenne S has the same issue. The other cars in the showroom including a Cayenne did not have this issue. I managed to flip over the seat belt at the height adjustment gap and then the seat belt did not retract smoothly. Because I had actually moved the twist to behind the wall. So I think they would need to remove the B-pillar panel and re-attach the seat belt at the anchor. Anyone has the same issue? My advisor is looking into it. I don't see any reason for the factory to install the seat belt backward.

I would think you'd just need to unbolt the bottom anchor bolt and flip the base of the belt over to remove the twist. Then twist the belt and run the twist through the buckle to get it flipped to the proper side.
This may not work if the seat belt anchor has any sort of bend to it to contour to the body.

The end that is attached to the bottom of the seat is correct, because there is a felt pad facing the seat to prevent scratching. It is the end that is attached to the pre-tensioner that needs to be flipped over. They need to remove the b-pillar trim panel. I am sure it can be done because Porsche offers a red seat belt kit for retro fit. I am just wondering why both 911s in the showroom also have the same issue.

I need help! I am trying to remove the front seat belts in a 997.2. The lower anchor was easy, but I can't figure out how to remove the top mechanism...
