I am interested in the 911 turbo (2007-2009). I am presently on my second viper and was planning to purchase a replacement in early 2014. Now I am considering seeking a very different driving experience. I want to remain at about the same power level and my budget puts me in the 2007 to 2009 turbo range.

My closest Porsche dealership is about 60-80 miles away and this has up to now caused me to buy more locally located cars like the viper.

Although I have been driving 40+ years, I know almost nothing about the Porsche automobile. The viper is not my daily driver and the Porsche would not be either.

So I am looking for information to help me make an informed decision.
