cooling system question

my drain plug for the coolant has been leaking every once and a while. Just a drop or two at this time but I plan on having it fixed if and when the roads clear up enough to get out for the day.(if not then in the spring).
Question is ; I was told when the plug is removed that the whole system will have to be drained and then re filled to Porsche specs using special equipment to make sure there is no air in the system. Sounds like a big deal to change a washer/plug. No?
It is covered by CPO, FYI.

Would suggest checking to see it you can tighten it up. Don't use excessive force just enough to check for any slack. If this doesn't work than call the dealer and ask them if it's covered. On a 2009 coolant should be changed anyway as it's 4 years old. If coolant is fresh it can be reused .

I m a little worried because I know the housing area is aluminum and very easily damaged. They already said it would be covered under my CPO.
I documented the pink crust on the outside of the plug when I bought the car two years ago . Never got worse but didn t get any better either.
