Formal intro
Hi,all, I moved over a month ago from the 996 forum following the trade of my 05 996 4S Tip for a 09 C2S. Got mid thirties for the C4S and paid mid 60's for the 09 with 19.2k miles and 2 years CPO. It is my DD now fitted with Blizzaks LM 60's.
The options list on the 09 was a bit strange at first but made sense when I noticed that the PO went for the really meaningful options, leaving out the purely esthetic.
Black std leather
250 PDK
342 Heated seats
345 Heated steering Wheel
369 Std seats ( no mem)
419 19" Carrera S II wheels
541 Seat ventilation
603 Dynamic cornering lights
619 BT interface for mobile Phone
640 Sport Chrono pck +
672 Nav module for PCM
680 Bose high end
686 XM Radio
810 Mats in interior color
841 3 spoke steering wheel for PDK
870 Universal audio interface
AN Black std leather
X1 Artic Silver met.
The manual seats were not a deal breaker.

Well probably the side markers although I did it on the silver C2S, I kind of like the contrast but don't want to look "nerdy".
As far as the High End Bose is concerned, I am pleased with the sound at least for now.
Performance-wise, I will wait a while since I'm still getting to know the car. I'm taking it slowly, going into familiar curves faster every day, building my confidence and trusting the car more.
I must say that it's easier to find the limits of a rear wheel drive than it was with a 4. With the latter I tended to get a bit overconfident and a couple of times I had an "Oh ****" moment but ended up going with it. The C2S has easier limits to find as it kind of telegraphs what it's about to do.
Hope I'm not talking out of my *** but that's what I've found.
Thanks for your welcome.
