1. I used Golf-Air Air Fright Service direct to London. Cost was about 4K !

2. First, I got the car registered in the UK as a temporary registration (T-1 Form) then bought that plate #

 

B7R...Great info! thanks a lot. Although that 4k (US $ right??) seems a lot, I think that's a great price especially if you are going for an extended period of time. Everytime I travel I spend countless thousands on renting exotic cars - I've always wished I had my own car though.

So how long does that T1 registration take to complete? I am thinking to take it first to the UK in (example) MAY, then move her over to Europe (South France) for the rest of the summer - then transfer her back to the UAE when I am done.


Is the car back in Saudi now - or still in the UK? Also, is that 4k one way or round trip?

The car is still in the UK. Expecting to have it back by Dec.
The T-1 takes 2-3 days, and it's good for 6 month....
The price is for one way...

Your's looks much nicer - is your's the TA wing (which I haven't seen advertised) or another aftermarket?

How was the trip driving down from London to Cannes? And how long was it?

I've been thinking about doing that for the past couple of years. The only thing I was worried about was the hotel's valet drivers messing up my rims, but I guess you got that sorted out with the Carlton drivers and the Claridge's drivers :P Thats where I saw your car mostly. Now how did you manage to trust them with not messing up those nice wheels?

 

1.The drive was OK took me about 4-h to Paris, and another 7-H to Cannes....
2. I Parked the car myself ....

 

The rear wing is also TechArt !

It looks to me like the center crest on the wheels are colored, on Porsche's online configurator it won't allow to have both color wheels and color crest. So how can you get color wheels and colored crest.

 

Yes they were "hand" painted in White

It's not an option .... you have to do it !

 

So where do you get those wheels, and then how would you go about painting them?
