997 Colors
Here's a comprehensive list of all non paint to sample colors.

That list appears to be the colors for MY2007 only. There are many other colors that have been available in recent years. Off the top of my head - Cream White, Porsche Racing Green, Ruby Red , Seal Grey, Dark Blue, Platinum Silver, Nordic Gold. And many others I'm sure.
The Dark Olive does not seem that rare to me. I've seen several 987.1 Caymans locally in this color.
The non-metallic PTS cars are Unicorns. I have a Cars.com search set up to find PTS cars, and I very rarely see the non-metallic PTS on cars < $100K.

Yes, PTS cars have to be the rarest. That being said, Euroclassics built another 911 coupe and one cab in Murano Green in 2008. So, there are three that I know of since 1990. Here's a pic of a 928 in Murano Green from MY1990.

Volnomad,
A lot of these PTS cars do turn up at Euroclassics. Do you happen to know the story with that? Do they have a sales team that promotes this option to their customers that configure-to-order, or are these cars the dealership buys for the lot?
Sorry if this is off topic, just curious.
