recaro pro booster seat

I bought this because I read a post on here (or the other board) that it works perfectly in a cab.
For anyone that has one - do you take out the seat backs or the bottom seat on your car before installing?

If you're going to leave it in, I would take out both parts of the seat. However, if not, I would just pull out the bottom cushions.

I had 2 of them in my car for a while. You would benefit by taking the seat out, because it will allow more room for the car seat to sit back. With that said, I didn't remove the seatbacks because the coupe seats seem to be less upright.

Thanks!

Anyone have it in a Cab? Need advice from cab owners. Back seats are very different in a cab versus a coupe

I have the Recaro pro booster in my cab and I did take the seat back out. It's about a 15-20 minute job and you need a Torx wrench for the mounting bolt that lies in between the 2 seat backs. I think I left the seat cushion in and just laid a towel down before installing the booster but you can try it both ways as the seat cushions are just held in place with Velcro.
