Whoosh! What is this sound?
I have a '07 C4S. Since day-1, I have noticed the whooshing sound when at high rev and before shifting (almost the sound of a very weak VOB). Is it the variable valve timing?

It does not bother me, but I am just wondering what this is. And no, my car is not turbo.
