2007 997.1 S PCM Nav my radio randomly changes stations. Anyone have similar issues?

Nope, not that........ but completely inaudible AM reception with mine. Out of interest, is it AM & FM that jumps?

I had this before. It has something to do with the traffic band being enabled.

There is a feature that switches to the frequency with the strongest signal, when the station broadcasts on an alternate frequency. You can disable this setting. Check the owners manual.

happens to me but with only 1 particular station. if you find a way to disable it, please post!

You guys may be experiencing either of two different problems, one of which is solvable.

First, Porsche acknowledges that stations may swap when two stations are close to each other, and one station is stronger. There isn't anything you can do about that. (See the PCM 2.1 Owners manual, page 99
).



Second, there is an RBDS Feature which is used to display station information, song data, etc. Apparently, RBDS also can specify alternate frequencies, and PCM uses that to automatically tune your radio station to receive the best quality signal. (See the PCM 2.1 Owners manual, page 19).



You can disable RBDS as follows (See the PCM 2.1 Owners manual, page 30)...
