Fidelity warranty service cover canadians!

hi Guys,

I have been reading a lot on this forum to find information about 3rd party warranty in Canada as im worried (paranoid) about engine failure (scored cylinder and IMS)

My car: carrera-S, 2006, cab, manual, 43000mls, still under CPO.

Options I found were:

Ensurall: since I have a 7+ years old car, the max amount per claim is $2000. So pretty useless to me.

PPP:

$7100, 3 years, 36000mls, full warranty, no max per claim

$5500 3 years, 36000mls, power train warranty, no max per claim

Another one (forgot the name)

$3900 3 years, 36000mls, power train warranty, $10k max per claim

Then called Fidelity directly and ask if they would cover me. They were pretty vague as it’s a selling car dealer that will answer those questions. But they said “we cover canandians, and I don’t see why we wouldn’t cover your car” They give me a few dealers to call close to Burlington, VT.
Had to call 5 dealer to finaly get someone to help me out. Some were saying they can’t cover me, some told me I was lying to them about a 8 years old Porsche still under warranty by Porsche. And finaly one give me a quote right away:

3years/36k mls, power train, $2500, $100 deductible. (max amount per claim is the value of the car)

They also had: 3years/36k mls, platinum coverage, $4700, $250 deductible.

So I drove to Vermont back and forth yesterday for a powertrain warranty forless than half price!

and I sleep like a baby

Have you tried SAL Marketing aftermarket warranty ? I think it's way cheaper than this.

If you need a contact for a quote, I can send you.
