Radar Dector Mounting STEALTH- Redline or STI Magnum

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas where to mount a Radar Detector for max stealth. I am planning on getting a redline with escort live. So I need places to put it in my 997. Is it possible to mount it in the grill? and wire through the frunk? Like a poor mans 9500CI ( only because i want to use it for more than one car) If you have any ideas let me know.

I need it stealth because VA bans RDs

do you know if on a Porsche mounting it high up will be a problem? I heard some windshields with metal in them are an issue
