RSS Engine Mounts AA+++

I'm a new P owner and my only complaint was how sloppy the 2nd to 3rd gear shift was.

Installed the RSS mounts last night with the help of the DIY write ups found on this forum. Took me about an hour total, with most of the time being spent removing the airbox since it was my first time removing it.

Impressions: The car shift sooo much better. My stock mounts had 33K miles on them and the clunk when shifting into 3rd was really bad unless I timed it perfect or shifted at 4500rpm+. Now its much more direct and feels solid.

There is a slight vibration which I don't mind much....not nearly as much as the previous shifting slop bothered me.

If you are on the fence, go for it, definitely worth the money and the slight vibration. My GT3 Shifter arrives tomorrow....can't wait to get that in

I have the RSS motor mounts and noticed a definite improvement in shifting, as well as a tighter feel when cornering. There is a little more NVH, but it actually makes the car feel tighter. However, at 3000 rpm with light throttle tip in I get a pretty strong dose of NVH.

I later added the Function 1st black trans mount insert. The good news was that the heavy NVH at 3000 rpm was no longer noticeable, the bad news was that the same harsh NVH was there all the time, along with hearing and feeling every thing from the trans. It didn't take long before the trans mount insert was removed.
