Need expert opinion on value of 2010 Carrera S
I got my 2009 C4S with everything you have except I have the sport bucket seats, sport chrono plus, and 7500 miles for 69k.
10k for color and 3k miles less.. I wouldn't unless it's a super rare color. Anything below 10k miles is in the same category in my head.

Not enough info. CPO? Sport Chrono? PCM? PASM? PSE? Full leather? Bose? Wheels? Sport seats? Options have a lot to do with the car's price and value.
I find this difficult to believe. Just my 2 cents based on a quick search. But, good for you on your deal.

Coupla items:
1 - Getting a car off lease from one these standard markup guys is a good thing and a way to not get drawn into "the options justify the price" BS. Auction information has nothing on options other than color, transmission, engine type, body style, condition, and a few more things. Nothing on SPASM or whatever. The auction market does not lie and does not care about options.... only the guy/gal selling you the car cares.
2 - Accident. So what.... I saved a ton when the carfax said "hit a wild animal" to me, that is no big deal as I keep cars for a long long time and virtually always do some body work in its lifetime. I got an indy inspection before purchase. No biggie to me. My C2S is my daily, all weather driver. I love it.
3 - If you are a "Porsche is a Faberge Egg" and are proud of how few miles you put on yours, then run from an off-lease car. You should look hard and find the perfect car for you and be proud you paid a huge amount of money for something so special.
Obviously, I have a very different attitude about cars. (Porsche is a car to me.)

Manheim report from when I did my research... Carrera Ss sold nationally for 1 months, around January 2013... not many cars.. .recession, dead of winter.... NO options.......

Well , I think that is where I part ways with you Bruce. Porsche is not just a car to me. Hence, maybe that is why I buy all mine, new.
The "search" is half the fun, whether you are buying new or used. Have fun, don't micromanage your life, buy the one you like and don't look back. It's a hobby, have fun.
2011 Carrera S Cab, 19K miles, PASM, sports chrono, heated/ventilated seats, Bose, $70K purchased right around Christmas 2013. They reset the factory warranty so 4 years/50K miles.
I'd like to know so I can try to negotiate the same when I upgrade...
I went to offleaseonly.com out of West Palm Beach. Their MO apparently is that they buy cars at auction and mark them up only $2500 or so. Then do fixed pricing. They're said to be the highest volume dealer in Florida. I believe it based on what I saw. Was able to take the car to a Porsche specialist nearby to get it checked out, and it's still got 9 months of factory warranty left. Couldn't be happier.
Check out their website. They've got some killer deals on cars.

It's true. At least for some of their cars. The car I bought from them was in a front end collision when it was 500 miles old. Not bad enough to set off the airbags, but it needed a replacement bumper. It was fully disclosed to me and the Porsche tech I took it to for a PPI couldn't find any damage. Still have 8 months of factory warranty left, too. The $15k-ish I saved is real money to me and I'd gladly do it again! But you're right, do your research before you buy. Just like everything else, caveat emptor.
Auction Cars
I have read that auction cars are bad..... true some have had accidents, but you will know this.
Guess where Porsche dealers get their used car inventories? They want you to think they are all trade ins on new Porsches..... wrong. A dealer rep told me they get their cars from: 1) trade ins, 2) auctions, 3) trades among car dealers in their area. He didn't tell me the percent mix, but the point was clear.... they get their cars any way they can, and auctions are a common source.
