Front Spoiler / Splitter Aero Kit

Have any of you guys used this non OEM front spoiler / splitter on your Aero Kit ? Its the same as the GT3. Looking to import into the UK but looking for user feedback.

That looks very similar to my spare. I have a factory one on right now, but bought a spare from ebay for $144 shipped. I have test fitted it and it fits as well as factory. The surface is finely textured and does not require painting at all, as long as you don't mind it black.

Thanks Phil - yes it is the non primered version I am after (black polyurethane). These cost £170 from Porsche (nearly $300) in the UK and are pretty much a disposable annual item for the GT3/Aerokit models on British roads. Members on a UK forum are considering a bulk purchase of the ebay item given the huge cost difference but bearing in mind shipping and import duties I wanted to make sure the product was of acceptable quality.
You mentioned it has a textured surface - any chance of a photo as the OEM one has a smooth finish?

Thanks

Guys - be careful with these I bought one off ebay and it cracked when we were trying to install. Just my experience.

x2

I too bought one from this seller, BestRacingMotors.

Mine didn't crack per se and though it looked decent out of the box, the top coat chips and flakes off easily. However, once on vehicle, paint flakes easily from rock chips and then looks speckled and starts to flake off where ever it flexes (unlike OEM which doesn't have a 'top coat'). Too bad I left ebay feedback months before I put it on my vehicle...

Tread very lightly or avoid altogether... in my experience.

I'll take some pics, but although it may look fine, it may not be a very good product from what others have experienced.
