Does anyone know which fire extinguisher fits the [electric] Adaptive Sports seats in a 997?

Here is a link on Amazon for a Rennline extiguisher - but it specifically says w/o sport adaptive? - I thought these were universal.....

Anyone know??

How easy is it for DIY install?

 

i ordered mine from the factory during the build with my *** seats

 

I have ventilated seats and think I'm the reason they now list that application as not working

YES!! That is the one I just ordered yesterday based on exhaustive research. The Rennline extinguisher looks like a total PITA to install. I loved the color options of the Speedtactics extinguishers - especially the chrome but I ended up getting the plain ol' red because i figured its a safety thing and not about the looks. Will post my experience with install as soon as it arrives.

 

Yep +1 for the Speedtactics mount. I have Sports Adaptive (Heated and Vent) seats and it fits nicely.

Easy to install too, loosen the rear seat bolts, remove the front ones and install mount (after you've mounted the extinguisher bracket that is). Make sure you slip the mat under the mount before you tighten everything up.

I have a 1.5kg dry powder mounted and have had no issues.
