softtop wear marks and liner question

Hi.

Need your input on some issues I have found with my canvas top.

On my 07 997 Cab, I have noticed two parallel wear marks, one on each side of the canvas top (drivers side and passenger side). They resemble friction wear (please see pictures). Has anyone seen these types of wear marks before. What could cause these wear marks? Are they common? How do I prevent more damage from happening?

I have also noticed them these marks starting to appear on the outer side panel areas of the roof.

Also on my inside liner, I am noticing the fabric becoming loose, esp in the side panel area (see pics). This is very new to me. I bought my car almost a week ago, and did not notice the loose fabric. Is this something easy to fix?

Any insight would be helpful.. thanks

Wear marks are normal, I have them too, when top is folded and car moving fabric rubs against itself, nothing to do about it really, the fold lines go away if you leave the car out in the son for a bit with top up, the inside is a different thing, I don't have that issue.

Mine of the same year has similar wear marks but not the loose fabric. Tight as ...

I cleaned the whole roof with Ragtop Cleaner and then two coats of Renovo sealer. Nice and black now and looks great.

Seeing both issues with my 2008 cab. As much as I use my top I consider it normal wear and tear. I have heard about a "re-conditioner" of sorts on this forum that hides the wear marks.

Take it to a detailer! They can make it look like new.
