Hello everyone, I recently got a lot of speeding tickets which I didn't get before, those damn cameras were installed recently, many of them were located at entrance of highway.

Drive wisely, don't be too hyper to get on highway.

 

They even have those in the country side (not suburbs!) at the traffic light intersections on local roads, where I live. Even though I always stop and wait at red lights, it's ridiculous to see these cameras there, with not a soul in sight for miles.

Where in ny oct? Havent seen any speed cameras yet heard they were putting them on longisland by school zones.

 

Yep, almost every school zone, some of schools are located right beside highways.

I've noticed cameras as well. I've used apps like trapster or beatthetraffic before hitting unfamiliar territory to spot them. My husband recently downloaded waze-- maybe featured in there too.

Download the free Waze app. Give it a try, you will get a warning before you get to a marked red light camera. As a second source, my Passport 9500ix, I pay the small yearly fee for database updates, and it will warn you as well.

I live on Long Island and over the past few months i noticed cameras have popped up EVERYWHERE!
