Your advice on the X51 Carbon Airbox

So the dilemma now, is to find a PCM or Cayman Radio to replace the iPad mini installation (so I can keep my iPad) and The X51 Carbon Fiber Airbox to be replaced by the Regular Airbox.

I am taking the Airbox out, along with the GT3 TB and the NHP Custom 82mm Plenum, so I can sell that as a package with a simple install without the hoover adaptor! LOL! But I'm leaving all the carbon bits, painted pieces, NHP 200 cell cats, wheels and even the spare tire kit...

Can I ask why you are getting rid of the X-51 airbox?

I remember your post about your iPad install, it was awesome, are you trading the car in? If not I am sure when you sell it you can bill through the roof for that installation, I know I would've loved for my car to have that, still do, just at the cost of the iPad mini to your sales price of the car, plus install seriously it looks great, it be a shame to undo it.

you can see my post about the x51 airbox install and my review. it's pretty awesome. power is delivered smoother and faster and the sound is incredible. I will let the combo go for $2500. I am trading the car in but if I sell it to an enthusiast, I will leave the iPad in as a good will. I want to get $30,000 for the car...

probably Aston or R8 next

Well, I already got some interest on the package, if I can sell it for $2500, means that I can sell the car for $28,000 and I will leave the iPad install.

your car and mine, are the best value for the money as we have invested some much love, money and passion on our 911s

Wow 28K what are the specs on the 997? A C2 base goes for 40 in my area.

Well, it's a base carrera, sport chrono plus package and manual transmission, black interior.
some of the upgrades are:
carbon fiber interior: side panels on the dash, ignition and light rings, door pockets, pulls and side pieces
speed yellow seat belts
speed yellow calipers
charcoal satin avant garde wheels
new 235 fronts and 325 backs Nitto Invos
new battery
200 x pipe cats
muffler bypass
997.2 steering wheel
997.2 center control panel
LEDs front and back
LEDs interior lights
LEDs tag lights

and this is a 2005 with 114k miles.
oil changes performed every 10k miles with Mobil1 5-40
all other work by Champion Porsche
new spark plugs and coil packs
filters, air filters and wipers
all that for $28,000 firm and I will include the iPad mini install

it's just a matter of making the sale faster. I will price it realistically and attract buyers with the upgrades
