Just went past 110,000 miles. And sad to report some significant work is being done.

Heard a grinding noise coming from the left rear a few days ago. I surmised (turns out correctly) that the left rear wheel bearing was shot. Dealer confirmed and said it would be $1,600 to replace (have to do an alignment). While setting the car up for the alignment they noticed that the front tie rods were shot. Need to replace them ($800). Then another call. The steering rack is leaking (which is the cause of the tie rod failure). Tack on another $1,600. So we are at $4,000 plus tax.

And for the record, I had the starter replaced 11/2014 ($1,200 I think).

Thanks! It is a 2006. Second owner. Roughly 80,000 miles are mine in almost five years of ownership.
