Great work, and love the color selection.

Came out really nice and for a temp fix, why not? Have some fun, life is short, might as well enjoy it.

did you paint the wheels black or plasti dip them, or what? Car looks great. I'm thinking of doing practically the same thing w/ my lapis blue Cayman S. hood is already black vinyl. I'm thinking the wheels have to be black too, like yours.

I had the rims repaired (curb rash and some chipping) and powder coated ($125 per rim). I kind of wish I would have plasti dipped them. Would have been cheaper, and I could peel it off when I remove the wrap. I'm not really a fan of black rims on a black car. Ill probably get new rims when I take the wrap off.
It's also so much easier to clean... Don't have to worry about swirles so much anymore.

I think it'll look better with a glossy blue instead of matte but it still looks better than black.

not really a matte fan of any sort. To me it looks really cheap and unfinished. That being said, yours looks better than I would imagine it would. I would never do it, but kind of cool for a track car or something (not feeling the EAS decal wings either), but not long term. I like the wheel shape, but in black they don't stand out at all, would have rather gone a gunmetal maybe? (they are an understated design, so not sure they go with the color and matte).

I had my M3 roof wrapped, after a few years (always parked in garage, unless I was at work, and then the sun is only beating 1/2 day) and it only lasted a few years, so be advised, these wraps are not close to permanent.

I would've left the hood also wrapped. To roof in black still is a nice contrast
Looks like a nicely done job.

Looks really cool - Black looks good too. But good job - variety is the spice of life. I like the contrast hood. And if you want it Black again, or anything else, you're good to go!

Took the blue off about 3 years ago....bored again, gonna do matte toxic green this time I think, will post pics once I get it done. Left the blue wrap on for about 2 years, front end had some tears around the corners near the end, but it held up pretty good. I like that it is much easier to clean, and I don't have to worry about swirls (hence the matte finish). Just going to plastidip the wheels black this time.

Someone I know did this to his 997 last spring. Looked awesome. not matte nor Riviera blue, but a nice flashy blue none the less.

Still have to do the rims and will likely get coilovers and drop it ~1 inch (roads are terrible here).
